Hi All,

I was hoping for some EQ advise - I know these don't play flat.

Please can someone give me an initial idea for the EQ Curve for a rig running MA215s and MA Phillieshaves.

I'll smart mic it bwhen I get the chance to an intial idea would be great!!]

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, I don't think the "presets" downloadable Excel from Martin does those (does F1/F2 IIRC), but might be worth emailing them?

Those values are for XTA and won’t apply to other DSP units anyway

I’ve shared this before but this is the exact same filter setup, a very basic one without overlapping filters, put into a bunch of common DSP units including DSP amps at various budget and ‘pro’ levels:

Linear is not flat also. If you don’t have experience in transfer functions then sweeping a narrow EQ filter of high peak value across the pass band to listen for resonances and then bringing those down by ear is a key part of designing a good filter set and can be done easily with a pink noise generator.

I can't really decipher them charts. I'm more looking for some simple take a few db off from here to here, add some here with a qts curve of... kinda advise.

Any simple advise would be really much appreciated. Just as a starting point :)
