Read below thread "entirely" before building anything. http://www.speakerplans.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9757&PN=2 Would be nice if you compiled the dimensions from all the given plans onto the AB36 diagram and posted it here. Regards. |

The best "Quake" boxes are all 36" deep, 24" wide and 36" tall. That design is one of the castrated 24" deep throw backs. The AB-36 is best of the lot. has SL36B design, with Angled Metal chamber plate as heatsink, and slightly better driver than rest of series. This is the one that needs to be Built and Bionic'd with Upto date driver. Edited by levyte357 - 06 June 2007 at 1:38am |

From what I understand, the metal plate "heatsinking" just dissipates heat to lower compression. Maybe Rog doesn't consider heat to be a problem with loonies. But if someone wanted to make aluminium backplate like labsub, I'm sure it is a minute change. |

The reason for two more is that I heard that four couple better, can some one please explain?

Search "horn coupling" or similar... should be plenty of explanations here for that one...

A 36x24x36 vega horn with additional bracing and top notch driver will drop deeper than 186 horn. Modelling to confirm.. soon. |
