The best "Quake" boxes are all 36" deep, 24" wide and 36" tall.

That design is one of the castrated 24" deep throw backs.

The AB-36 is best of the lot. has SL36B design, with Angled Metal chamber plate as heatsink, and slightly better driver than rest of series.




This is the one that needs to be Built and Bionic'd with Upto date driver.

Do u rekon the loonie bin should have a heat sink to make them more efficient, infact all horn cabs !!
Why not make the 186 Horn, rackmount !

From what I understand, the metal plate "heatsinking" just dissipates heat to lower compression. Maybe Rog doesn't consider heat to be a problem with loonies.

But if someone wanted to make aluminium backplate like labsub, I'm sure it is a  minute change.

 Thanks all, I am looking for the plans for the   L36pe, they are 36X36X24.
I allready have two but would love to build two more!

A 36x24x36 vega horn with additional bracing and top notch driver will drop deeper than 186 horn.

what driver, if it drops lower, will it throw the sound any better ? also how will they respond to different types of music, house, garage, etc
