After some advice onhere I invested in a used Cloud CX-A6 6 Channel amplifier. I want to use 4 channels as for background speakers in mono. Also want channel 5 and 6 bridged to a small mono subwoofer. After what i can see in manual this is possible. But Im confused of how to do it? As for now all input signals come into input 1 with a single xlr. My question are how do I wire channel 5 and 6 to be bridged together? Would it work to have inputswitch on channel 5 set to 1 and inputswitch on channel 6 set to 6? Here is manual and on site 5 it tells aboput bridging: http://www.cloud.co.uk/files/documents Also can the internal jumper of 65 Hz to be used to avoid getting the all lowest signals to the 4 background speakers?

Yes... so, the same mono input on ch5+6. Except wire the internals of the ch6 plug with the hot and cold pins swapped. Then to hook up the speaker ONLY use the ch5 and ch6 out terminals. DONT use the 0v common connection. I.e. connect ACROSS channel 5 and 6 completely ignoring the common ground.

The 65Hz filter is designed to stop 100V line transformer saturation at low frequencies, but it would act as a very basic high pass filter to your mid tops.
However, depending what they actually are, and what the sub is, that 65Hz value, and the rate of the roll off is very unlikely to be exactly what you want or need, and doesn't offer a low pass to your bridged bass channel. Cheap DSP X-over? |

My tops are 4 RCF MR 55.
And the sub is RCF 12” art 600. The sub has built in passive lowpass filter. The bridged 2 ch of cloud a6 probably is not enough to push the sub but im just after a little more punch to the tops on lower volumes
