Hi Guys.

Looking into making new mid/high cabs to go above 3 to 4 HD15 and some gsubs.
First i thougth of the MT122, but its to deep.

And then i came across limmer horns 308 and 312. Can these be combined in one cab without messing to much with coverage, phase allignment and all that stuff? 308 on top and 312 just underneath it.

Havent been able to find much info on Them, but they should use the same 12" as far as I understand.

Best regards Frank

Where are you getting the horns from? I can only find the limmer site, but no price lists. MT121’s loaded with decent drivers still hold their own.

Its second hand from a guy in sweden. Dont know if limmer horns are still in production.

I like the simple design and straight forward build of the mt121 and 122, but they are to deep to fit on top of the HD15.

One thing i dont like about the mt122, is the HF horn placed in the middle.

it is not a problem to stack mt121/122 on hd15s even if they are +-20cm deeper -  there are also lots of ppl who redesigned the mt122 with the HF Horn on Top instead of in the middle

Personally I’ve never had HD 15’s but my old 15” kicks which Bee built were similar to the turbo TSE215s but in singles. I had no problems with MT121s placed on them.

Thats what i was thinking also, from the looks of it.
Maybe i should have a go with that combo then.

Would make a Nice and big box to look at with all those horns Embarrassed

As I can understand, they are made for B&C 12PE32 and DE700.
Is it critical to use these or could other drivers be used ad long as t/s are close to the same? I really like the sound of BMS HF drivers. Would love to put that in Embarrassed

I Don't know of any 2" BMS apart from the coax...
TSP are not critical, the point is the mid cone has to fit the phaseplug.
Shoot Ralf limmer a message, he has tested a modern combination for sure. 12FW76 would be a killer mid driver for example.
