Well yes actually, let’s - because if you try and sim them like this you’ll get incorrect results. It’s not exactly difficult to adjust so they’re using the same standard. Why post data if it isn’t useful? |

I don't know... to upset people who just like to winge? If you don't like them, don't read them. Trying to be offended by printed numbers seems a little extreme...

Eh? Nobody is offended. We’re just pointing out a relatively minor mistake and how it can be rectified in the name of helping people out with their research. Why are you so defensive? If you don’t like our comments perhaps don’t read them? That ridiculous statement cuts both ways. @RealitySound: B&C use a different method, see https://www.bcspeakers.com/resources/faq-frequently-asked-questions/

We can agrue about whos formula is corerct tho.
The (Hvc - Hg)/2 one is technically most correct, but in reality the movement goes way beyond that point because of the inertion of the mass. The (Hvc - Hg)/2 point is where the VC starts leaving the gap, but no cone suspension/magnet force is able to simply stop the vc at that precise point. Some do it betetr, some worse, but at all of them the excursion simply dont stop there. |

I see one driver in this list with a qes of 0.39, another with a qts of 0.37. Either of which, tells me, this list is not actually based on Scoop design experience, or research. |
