Well then maybe the list should be renamed,

"Random list of T/S parms, for 21" drivers I found in the Shops".

The (Hvc - Hg)/2 one is technically most correct, but in reality the movement goes way beyond that point because of the inertion of the mass.
The (Hvc - Hg)/2 point is where the VC starts leaving the gap, but no cone suspension/magnet force is able to simply stop the vc at that precise point.
Some do it betetr, some worse, but at all of them the excursion simply dont stop there.

That’s why I posted the link to B&C FAQ explaining why they do it their way as well

Hey reality sound, nice idea, will add to that later.
Suggestions:
replace BL with BL/Re² to really be able to compare motor force between differenet nominal impedance drivers
replace VAS with Cms for the same purpose (getting Sd out of the equation)
State xmax as (Hvc-Hg)/2 as this is the only data every brand states
add VC diameter and magnet type
delete sensitivity as this only applies to the octave above EBP, so of no use for bass speakers. Maybe add EBP instead.

LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

Grow up fella. It's a forum...

Guy puts up a list of drivers with TS so people don't need to hunt and gets linched for just being a nice guy!

...anymore for the "victim parade"?

Or we gonna turn a nice gesture into 20pages of bulls##t like we normally do in the name of the #metoo 'I'm right' brigade

Omfg!!!!
18mm top plate thickness, 39mm winding heigh!!!! Thats something new. Real 15 mm acording to (hvc-hg)/2 + hg/4. This Paudio looks impressive too. I dont believe in Xmax without giving hg and hvc by manufacturer.

Again still tied up on "who's right" the guy made a nice gesture and then gets water boarded for doing so...

Rather then "can I add to the list and have this param and that param" he got "THOSE ARE RIGHT ACCORDING TO WHOS MATHS??"

You lot need to lighten up!

Nearly every thread lately has been pages and pages of ALMOST nothing useful, jus the #metoo parade jumping on the band wagon of "how can I look intelligent AND take the piss out of somebody at the same time whilst not being very helpful...."
