i think my most memorable time was back in 2001 on one of my first biker rallys ,i was in a smallish marquee with a pair of apogee twin 18 subs and  2 volt loaded TEK 12's on each one ,playing some top rock tunes, thunderstruck was awesome, so was smoke on the water and some iron maiden really hit the right notes, this was on the Friday night so only about 40/50 there at the time , the marquee collapsedon me the next day lol
GOD TOLD ME TO DO IT !!!!!

I used to have an ASS Spektra system, including the SP9 single 18's.  One particular Christmas Party night the hotel came over and asked if I wouldn't mind turning the bass down a little as it was shaking glasses off the shelves in the bar for the other party in the hotel Smile

(as I said, probably boring compared to most!)

I can remember turning up at a local golf club that I used to do weddings at regularly expecting to be in the 300 capacity marquee that they had in the grounds as I usually was only to be told that that night there were only 80 guests and no marquee so I was in the function suite, I'd brought a pair of HD215's, a pair of 15+8+1 tops and a rack of C Audio XR3801's....

...... Anyway, duty manager comes up as things are getting into the swing of things and asks if I could pull things back a bit as glasses are rattling in the bar in the other room, I willingly oblige and pull the 'DFA' knob back a bit and ask him if that's any better, he tells me it is and I don't see him for the rest of the night.....LOL

And the image doesn't want to link...sigh

I did a techno night a couple of weeks ago and one of the djs played a very well produced and good quality remix of Billie Jean that broke down to a minute or so of the original track, I had to go out front and have a listen 'cause it sounded f'kin awesome!

I'm suprised Brixton Rec hasn't been brought up yet. Infamous incident where Jah Tubbys cracked the concrete of the swimming pool above, pouring water onto King Shiloh set.
C'mon, someone tell the story!

For the Trinidadian members, Royal Castle carpark carnival time was one of the memorable bass that I have heard.

I once stood in front of 8 EV Mtl-2 bins. Powered by a rack of crown 3600. That was insane. My eyes wobbled and thought my organs were going to pop out...lol

one that stands out for me tbh to many to mention harking back to the 80s , wen Errol (King earthquake) played his 12x 24in folded horns ..serious air movement in de place, powered by 4/5 mono blocks
