So, in my opinion JBL never made a great box. Some ok but nothing great. But component wise they have produced some serious legends!

I’d look outside of the box. For £4-£500 a box you can buy some serious old school PA.

Kf850 £500 a box
Kf750 £500 a box
Meyer MSL3 4-£600 a box
Turbosound floodlight 5-£750 a box
Martin W8c 5-£650 a box

All of above are ex professional box’s and will last years if you take care of it. And set up right will give pretty much anything a run for it’s money.

I have so hard time decide what to go for.

Amps I have:
Couple of EV P3000
DBX 260

Subs I have:
4x SRX 718S
2x JBL dual 18" BR with 2241H
2x Dual 18" BR with RCF L18S800
6x RCF ESW 1018 with RCF L18S800

I really dont know what tops to buy. I need couple of different system that all for them selfs plays pretty loud.

I can get:

2x JBL SRX 722 for 1500 GBP/pair.
Lots of different dual 15"+2" older JBL, RCF etc. for 400 GBP/pair.

Is the SRX 722 really worth that kind of money? I can get numberous of dual 15"+2" cabs for that kind of money loaded with some pretty good drivers. for much lower money.

Also spare parts are cheaper for those other cabs.

What do you guys think this decision really gives me headache :)
