I have used HD15 with the 402's, work very nicely and bass throws well. But the HD15 are still a bit bulky and heavy to cart up and down stairs frequently and safely. So 12" BP units look promising ...

hey DJK - did sim for drive but just not hip so picked 2/2 cu.ft.
WinIsd indicated~99dB at 2.83 for my rough guess and 200W power handling to hit 7mm one place what did you have in mind for this inexpensive 12" driver? rough guess http://home.earthlink.net/~buddhaboy2/BP6.jpg 15269/1844 might be fun in BP6A - got 1 just waiting for a BP. |

and sim #2 came out 99dB/50Hz 2W (2.83v for nominal 4ohm) w.
3.2cu.ft./44Hz rear - 1.6cu.ft./80Hz front with better bandwiidth &
200 watt to 7mm around 44 on sim at ~120dB - is this getting
closer to tweaked assuming good T-S? - can it be kept to
~18kg?
