not really powerful enough by modern standards should you be looking to power anything big......

Lookup Crest 8001 as the 10004 is 2*8001 in one enclosure.

Is that to much because if i just look at the specs it should do the job :)

Would be to power 4 x hogscoop (loaded with pd1850) :)
But since we dont have the budget to buy a powerfull new lightweight amp we wanted to start off with the 10004.. also heard a lot of good things about the 8001 for bass but was hoping to speak to some users to make shure we don't make a mistake buying one :)

Thanks !

That's 750 Watts per driver, bit on the low side.

The rated output would be a bit low but the 8001 is one of the best bass amps ever, are you going to be driving them to death? if not you will be presently surprised by how it sounds, 10004 is a gorgeous amp Smile

If played @ 8ohm it would be on the low side yess but i think still enough for most venues we going to play.
But when played @4ohm bridged we got 1400 per driver or am i wrong ?
Still a beginner in al this so might be wrong :)

Thanks for clearing that up !
