Cool i will use NL4 instead then.

Is 14awg cable suitable too from amp to sub it will be less than 2m run. Sub is 280w rms.

The only problem with the nl2 plugs is they don't fit larger diameter cables which nl4's do..  ie cables with a larger overall diameter don't go through the 'cap' that screws over the connections..

Other way round.. just don't use nl2 sockets as they only accept nl2 plugs..  Nl4 sockets will accept nl2 or nl4 plugs...  can be a pain if you find you're short of cables and need to borrow one but it won't plug in cos you cheaped out and used nl2 sockets...

From hazy memory - You can mate an NL4 plug with an NL2 socket, but not the other way round. So everyone and their mum uses NL4 connectors on their cable. The metal ones if you are serious. Buy once, cry once. Cable will outlive any amp, speaker and processor, so it's worth doing properly. From a lighting perspective the best rig with crap cable is far worse than the average rig with good cable.

If both boxes are the same I’d advice putting 2 speaking in each box.

Cool thanks. Thats good then. I was expecting it all to have to be NL4's so each cable has a seperate terminal to solder to.
