We used to do it back in the day because back then, your powersoft would have been, Baracuda.
It was the first ever switchmode and had 6 xlrs on the back, a pair of 3.
Jah shaka had baracuda and always played with 6 scoops

The baracuda was like carrying a biscuit tim

make sure you time align that system i ran with bs1200s for a while and if you dont they will sound crap , few big sounds had them and then got rid because they didnt to it also , difference is massive !!also 6 scoops , do not get 6 out much these days( pre covid ) but can say a stack of 3 sounds so much better than 2, its not far of 4 imho so thats why i like 2x3 stacks and with the right amp can run all off 1 , easy life and wiring

Paulus is bang on there

The difference between 2 scoops to then 3 scoops, is way more impressive than 3 scoops to 4 scoops

My favourite setup is two stacks of 3 scoops

Done some pretty big places with that!

Jah Tubby's 2 stacks of 3 scoops (pretty much facing each other slightly offset) at St Paul's carnival last year was very loud and sounded really great towards the end of the day. Was amazed at the pressure in front of just 3 18s on sub.

I agree with this.

2x stacks of pair Scoops, can cover 400-500 ppl with sub, if loaded and powered right.

As people have done for years, with 1850s and 1x MA5000VZ.

Also if playing mostly indoors, think 2x15 reflex sounds better than BS1200, easier to move, and cheaper.
