There are so many people using the K30 under real world scenarios. The amplifier has a low failure rate. I don't see why doing an autopsy on the K30 would be necessary. The guys that are using them are making money off them. There is no reason why one cannot make their money back with a lot of profit to spare on an amplifier that cost under 800 US dollars.

Best Regards,

Has anyone disassembled Morin K30 and  Admark K30 amplifier, can say something about it ?

Apart from the marketing name K30, these amps don't seem to have any of the high quality, reliability and durability of the Powersoft circuitry.

The output power performance test says nothing about the quality of the circuit design and long-term durability.

Can the quality of  semiconductors used withstand high current and voltage loads for years or is the cheapest quality used?

With a factory retail price of > 1.5K, that's a fair question

Today its not difficult to build a Class-D Pro amplifier with 3500 Watt TRUE RMS 110 Volt AC for Engineers coming from University.

Are full schematics available that the amp can be repaired on a component level basis ?

On which technology are these Class D amplifiers based ?

- single feedback pre / post or dual double feedback ?

- Fullbridge / Halfbridge / BTL circuit per channel ?

- IRS20957 / IRS2092 / IR2010 Class D Driver Chip based on IR reference design ?

- Rail +/- to GND more than 100 volts w/o cascoded mosfets?

- Fixed clock or self-oscillating circuit design?

- What switching frequency and how many uH do the LPF filters have?

- Variable Output voltage limiter present ?

- Impedance limiter present?

Finally:
Which MOSFETs are used ? the power amplifier should not get warmer than 45 to 55 degrees at full load even after many hours in KW power range

MOSFETs that work but whose specifications are not sufficient for Class-D according to the data sheet, the amp runnning hot and the sound have an audible difference in the bass punch and clarity of the mids and highs
