You still have to get the " Anaconda" out of the case to hook up to the array. Done a few 5 x Socapex multis with staggered headers in my time ....not fun ! Neatest solution to that I've come across was these " Stadium Carts" @ BRP. The speaker cables live in the trays ontop of the amp racks. One a side for an arena gig...hook cables up to arrays up they go, subs and fill cables still have to be wrestled into position though. Only need a drive multi, cross stage and power, everything else is in those racks saves a huge amount of time on bump in/out! .p. |

The only way to deal with 18x4mm is to have dedicated flight cases which you fig-8 it into like a multicore. Although the only time I've known anyone use it is for feeders for flown arrays so you attach one end to the array and let the motors pull it out of the case!

That is what socapex is for, and HO7 is readily available for that.

i was more concerned with durability and size than audio quality. all cables now made and very happy with the end result.

There’s no 8-core Lineax available though. Once you get used to fewer cables for the runs and breakout at the stack end, you don’t ever want to go back.

The JAM cable, especially the more recent version is pretty good as a less expensive alternative. It probably wouldn't be my cable of choice if I was running a PA company with gear going on on a daily basis but for most people it's going to be perfectly fine. Most of my speaker cable is Kelsey SPL or what was previously branded ATM KA OFC speaker cable and some of those are now 10-15yrs old and still in good condition, hasn't turned into spiral telephone cable yet.

Just go with the cable which is the easyest to roll up and Work with.
Its pure b****** that you can tell a difference on a PA system |

Titanex/Lineaux H074G4-RNF, used to be trade secret sub cable !!!
Never seen it kink, where as, forgotten how many crews I've seen, wheel out crates of kinked Van Damme cable.

Im sure it is fine. Van damme is overpriced and distinctly mediocre. Ho7 everytime

Another question, bluearans own brand jam cable is significantly cheaper than van damme. Has anyone here used them?
How does the quality hold up?
