I’ve bought 4 fully loaded paraflex silver formulas. Loaded with b&C 15NW100. My problem is they aren’t very good at all. I’m not sure if it’s the drivers or the actual acoustics of the box itself. I’ve heard sinai sound systems golden formula 21” subs multiple times and I kind of have the same problem with them. I feel the sound goes around you rather than through you if u get meh. (Many people agree)I’m basically asking if anyone has any ideas of what I can do. I’m a qualified cabinet maker so I can basically build anything speaker related… so maybe some other duel 15” subs with a horn? the drivers off altogether and get 18”. I want a warm bass resonant on lower frequencies below let’s say 70hz(warm bass lol) just something solid that works. I’m getting really tired of worrying about why my system isn’t keeping up. Xtros are my top section so does anyone know anything that might work? Thanks . Music genres mainly house garage free party esc shit punchy bass fuk dnb lol

Have you heard anybody sound to your liking with these cabs? If so maybe find out what processing and amps theyre using, how they're set up etc. Alternativly i have x4 large 21" horns i'll be moving on unloaded if that interests you. Message for further info .
Edit: misread, i thought you were using 21" and not 15.

X-tro was designed to go on top of a stack of Punisher, 3 per side starts to become quite nice.

For reference, mine are Silver 21", not golden.

You've got 15" ones?

So to be clear.
You have 4 Silver Formula Paraflex cabs, - really designed for high performing 21" drivers loaded with relatively weak 15" drivers & They don't work as you expected?

I searched for a Hornresp sim parameter screengrab that might allow a comparison to be made to find out how incompatible your drivers might be, but have drawn a blank so far.

Yeah that was my understanding also.

Do you have any pics of these cabs?

What did you have out at Matterley Bowl Looked humongous but was too crowded/loud to get a decent gander.. Off axis sub was trouser flapping :)
DMZ. "The bass was intense. Girls were literally running up to stand next to the subs"

There is no official 15" Silver Formula Sub on the Paraflex site. However, I think someone did his own version and shared a video on FB.

I'd like to see pictures too.

The 15nw100 does not sim well in that cab. The cab is designed for 18 or 21 inch driver as well. For a 15" driver, it would need to be redesigned to host that.

Looking at building myself some X-tro tops. How do you like them? How long have you had them, and what speakers did you put in em?
