Hi everybody.
On the forum reads lot of thread where we spoke about how bad is vocal coming out subs and how frequency between 150-250Hz can sound bad if played by a kick bin at groundstacking-height.
But
Tfl-760 turbosound floodlight actually have a HPF on 12” at 180Hz. Everybody think they sound very good. Turbosound provide a flying gear to fix them on a truss and lift them on (i think) 3/4/5 m height. So i suppose their lack of low mids doesn’t make problems. Even with rock/vocals/music different than EDM.
I ask this because i’m on the point of buying funktion one evo6sh. They are very light (20.5kg) so i can fix on a truss very easily. But they have a suggested xover point at 220Hz. (173Hz on a res3sh evo that might to be identical in the 10”horn).
I’m scared about i could use it only for edm if in this 100-250 range i’ve got plenty of power but also lot of muddness

The evo6sh is a hi pac designed to go over f215 so you either need some 215's or look for some evo6 or 6e

DMZ. "The bass was intense. Girls were literally running up to stand next to the subs"

For sure I’ve got HD15 now to go underneath Evo6sh. If their upper range is too much bad I’m thinking to build Martin f2b loading them with the same pd154 I use in the hd15.
I’m thinking about flying the Evo6sh on a truss instead of stacking them placed on the surface of hd15.
The thing that non convince me of this sistem is the possibility that the hd15/f2b can play vocal notes / frequency that are too much directional because the crossover point need to be 180/200/220Hz and the distance between hd15 and Evo6sh can be a problem
