Noticed this too, tonight on the same model mixer at a dance. .
Was solved by raising the output on the echo pedal, but still, it's a feature of this mixer it seems, not a fault

The Xone has rca connections so i am using adaptors to the jack i/o of benidub
But the Channel volume goes down when you move the FX Channel even with no FX linked in...

That would make sense as more of the signal goes from direct to the send.. possibly you might find you need to boost the output of your delay unit..  also I'm assuming the dj mixer expects stereo send and return? Guess the benidub is mono? This could be an issue as well..

From the guide

Use this control to vary the amount of channel signal
that is sent to an external effects device connected to
the X:FX send / return on the rear panel. With this
control set to ‘dry’, none of the signal is routed to the
external effects loop. With the control in the central
position, half of the signal is sent to external effects,
while the other half is unaffected or, if filter is selected,
only the dry part of signal is filtered. With the control
set to fully ‘wet’, all of the signal is sent to external ef￾fects and the VCF filter is bypassed

Might it be an unbalanced>balanced problem? What does the fx unit have as i/o?

That does seem a bit pointless.. what external effects unit are you using? Just thinking, if it's a send/return situation it should not affect volume of channel unless you are set at 100% effect and the output of the external unit is very low? Presume that's what you mean?
