Hi All

Been looking at both of these active speakers, TQ is 3 way, about 10kg higher, slightly older model compared TCS but in terms of sound quality etc how do they compare, my understanding is that newer Turbo speakers are not as good as the older models but would like your opinion before I commit

Many thanks

Afaik early TQ series had real PD drivers with cast chassis the later TCS range were pressed steel from a lessor brand  and the durability & voicing suffered accordingly.

More aerobics class than rock & roll.
DMZ. "The bass was intense. Girls were literally running up to stand next to the subs"

from memory tcs122 have ev nd6 and woofer is cast aluminium  basket , looks like p-audio , still got 1 somewhere . they are decent , but tq440 sound better
tq315 have fane woofer , 2 voice coils in earlier models and rcf cd , used to have quite few many years ago

Thanks for the feedback, I did think the later versions of Turbo are not as good as the earlier ones, only the weight is slightly putting me off as they are 40kg. I believe the amp module in TCS is also Linear research.
