offtopic:
has anyone got any links to an indepth article on helmholts resonator? ie calculations of effect and efects of differing lengths and flares on a port.
still cant afford any of the big acoustics tomes ive got my eyes on, completley strapped for cash.

on topic:
the idea of turing the x1 into an 8th order bandpass before any flare makes this idea sound a lot more sensible to me though with deadbeats findings on upper bass being more prominent with both pots in use it might be a big headache though what are the phase implications of this across the pasband?

On ports

On 8th order...my previous graphs didn't really matter tbh.
