there is more to a drivers price than just its out put, [or in that fact how good it sounds] what will ultimately affect the price of a loudspeaker driver is how much it cosats to manufacture and quite often how much it costs to get it from the point of manufacture to the customer...

If 1850 is more louder and out does the TBX then why is the TBX more expensive? surely there must be a reason for this?

Don't use eminence scoop. Apparently TBX sound warmer and more musical,and 1850 just has Brutish SPL and takes more hammering. 1850 does drop silly deep in Shortman/ASS. Use scooper + V18-1000 ASS + 1850 Shortman + 1850 (or others ) If you had read scoop forum you would have found all this and much more. |

Just out of curiousity
Which driver do people think is better and your reasons why?
Lets say for example/comparison;
A) both to be used in a 18 standard EMINENCE scoop
B) sound quality
C) wattage
Why do alot of reggae sounds prefer the 1850??
