Has anyone put the SD18 into these boxes? It looks like it won't fit with the braces.

the plans state that the SD18 can be used though it does look very close. i'm building some ES18-BPH at the moment so when they are finished i will put up some pics & measure the driver clearance.

Mark, did you put handles on the ES18's that you built?
mine are currently in a a similar state to the pic posted above & i'm debating possible handle positions, to be honest i cant find a good place to put them.

Hiya,
thought I'd register to show you that : es-218bph so yeah es-218bph with usb style bracing, c18-650el loaded. we're making 2 for testing, each cab will be fed 1500w of clean Lab Gruppen power. if it sounds good we'll make 2 more, hoping that a stack of 4 will go quite low. |

Haven't had a chance to try them yet. The cabs aren't finnished because it's blody cold right now.
I've heard those drivers in a very small reflex enclosure before and I was very impressed. I'm no good at describing a sound in details but I can definately say it sounded really good. |

I am probably going to be buying a few of these soon, hence the interest in them,
Just worried whether they will survive long term hard useage in a horn.....[a damn long horn at that] |
