You need to set the expansion to conical for each section - press the "C" key when the cursor is in the appropriate segment length field.

You need to enter the L34 value ie the mouth section area.

and the sound is good with 15" JBL E-140, good kick.

thinking of building 4 es18 to go ontop of my 6 pd184 subs, have sorced drivers P.audio C18-650EL and P.audio SD18. what would be better matched to my subs? and are these the best drivers to use with this cab for money and sound quality? thanks

i think some forum members have/had some es18 with fane 18xb, i have a similar driver in mine and they work great. i think the design is very tolerant with different drivers but you can get different sound too. a driver more suited to reflex will have less spl but a nice warm sound, a driver more suited to hornloading would sound harder, with strong kick and spl. since i use them as upper bass for a  reggae sound, i prefer the reflex driver choice

Higher EBP strong kick less depth, lower EBP less kick more depth.
 
For a driver that has a strong kick I would recommend the rcf lf18g401, for a smoother sound the PD 186.
