But five meters for 25 hz?
Should mean 2,5 meters for 50hz hornloaded
1850 horn is not that long.

Is this for a single cab or is it halfwave not quarterwave horns?

Rog was clearly joking with that comment, mid-40s for a stack of 4 is about right.

What? I see you're joking or playing in an infinite hallway?

If the horn length is less than my 5 meters then you will not be hitting 25Hz.

Really? Do you mean in singles?
Quaterlenght is 320/25=13 meters / 4 = 3,25meters or NOT?
I'm a bit confused here!

Hornresp seems to go pretty low in big groups, invader bin with 18-1500 is supposed to hit 30hz in big stacks, but the horn itself is not that long at all.

I like the look of you & your speakers:-) You could copy-paste a older guy in there, then people would think that you're wise like Andrews & Danley :-)

A few years ago we designed a similar concept (M-horn, see www.speakerstore.nl) but this was a folded frontloaded horn instead of rearloaded. For people who have little money but enough time this is an excellent solution to get much bass for little money. We also chose to cut the 18" horn in two modules for easy of transportation.

As far as I know only two people did build our M-horn (they were impressed with the loud deep bass) the main problem is no one was able to find the perfect solution on how to couple both parts of the horn. And how to prevent air leaks and rattles when the modules are on top of each other.

Best regards,

Walt

you talk about that ?

do you still have the parameter or a better plan ? just to look how it sim.
