basicly, i have an infinte 8 and 7 dedicated to bass.
i was going to build 186's but ive had a change of mind and realised 1850 are probebly the way. but i load them with void 1200's will the infinite 8 hanlde 3x v-1200's per side. i think it runs 3300w @ 2.6ohm pc which doesnt seem anywhere near enough?? should i stick with the 1850? |

power wise you should be fine, (the infinite 8 is a beast), but the v18 1200 isnt recommended for front loaded horn applications. I think the V18-1000 would give you better results in the 1850 horn as they are more similar drivers.
I'd wait for someone else to comment, but if you have a search you'll find somewhere that rog himself (the designer of the v18-1200 and 1000) doesnt think the 1200 cone is strong enough for front horn use. |

cheers jake. i think ill go for the v1000. i was worried bout the 1850 grunt so a smoother and more eficient driver seems about right to me!!
