Well each Pd needs about 1000w each so 2000w a box @ 4ohms

A few amps can come close to these ratings

I guess these will do

Proline is a good reccomendation, but there are other amps in it's class (MPX1200, EV P3000 that we've all agreed are good).

No real price limit? Best quality you say?
Brand new:
Lab Gruppen FP
Powersoft
Noise Control FFA
Void Infinite Mk2
Crest 9001
Chevin Research A6000

I know what someone's going to post next...

can you get a Crest 9001 brand new? I thought they'd finished.
I might add QSC PL6.0 to the list above, never heard one, but read nothing but praise.

EV P3000 or Matrix XP3000 might be two more affordable options.

Just buy an Electrovoice P3000 secondhand for £500 to £650 and you will be well chuffed as they really are a superb amp for driving something like a G sub loaded with heavyweight drivers.

What Robbo said. P3000 will last a long time and their price will drop very very slowly.

The PL series are very good, but not the very very best on sub. I have a PL 9.0 PFC which I'm going to sell to get some other amps. I stress the very very because they are that good, but just not at that top level.

Sorry, the 9001 shouldn't be on that list. Good amp, anyways.

Wait up, someone mentioned Matrix. CONTROVERSY LOLWink

are you suggesting a proline 3000 stereo on sub, i thought itd be adequate for kick like that but thought it might get a bit ropey having to go lower, +1 on the void im yet to hear a combination heavier than iration steppas drawing 32 amps and chucking them out through turbomax (though thats in no way scientific, i haven't heard those specific cabs powered by much else just my opinion that and its power specs)
You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.
