rog once told me to put the ports on the ground then the low ports touching each other as well.

Prolly makes little difference. My 6th order boxes(very similar to x1) don't seem to sound any different either way. Theoretically it would be better to have the ports as close to the ground as possible for total 'half-space' loading,but should still be fine,stack 'em how you like!

We're putting 4 x1 cabs in each stack, and want to know if it is better
to have them standing up on end next to each other or lying down, 2 on
top of the other 2.
we would like to stand them up, so we can put 2 hd15 cabs on top of each x1. we can than get enough height to put our mid tops on. if we should put them 2 on 2, should the cones all face the same way, or in opposite directions, or does it make no difference. |
