Hi,
I the beginning i would like to apologize for my poor English. I am looking for some nice 12" SQ/SPL (60/40%) sub.I will bay it in the http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i...ubwoofers.html because I had ordered everything from them so the shipping cost to UE will be more acceptable.I don't want to spend more than 150-200$ I am driving Hyundai Tiburon so I don't have much space in the trunk-it will be probably one 12" sub. I was looking for something interesting in their site and so far i have made this list: alpine: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+-TYPE+R-.html Infinity http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ect+12+VQ.html JL audio http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+12W3v3-4.html MB Quart http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...m+PWH+304.html Polk audio http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...MM2124DVC.html Rockford Fosgate http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ch+P3D412.html I am not really sure if they are the best subs in this site for this price so I asked You for help. Can You tell me which sub from their site is the best SQ/SPL sub in this price range? I dont have an amp for this sub but I will bay it when I will choose the sub. |

Don't overlook the DEI - Directed SX10D4 also from the same site. I know it's only a 10" but with a good 250rms (4 ohms) amp you'd be amazed by the sound these can generate from a small sealed box in a small boot. V-good value at $90 at the moment. good luck

I also had an earlier model Alpine Type-R 12" (2004) and it sounded really deep and warm when being pushed by a 400rms viper amp. I later replaced it with a Directed Audio comp-X 5102. This 10" rms beast could be hard & brutal when required yet still retained the HiFi warmth of the Alpines.
