I got the BMS driver from Tonk Wilkes on this forum, top guy.

They are a 25L (nominal) enclosure tuned to 63Hz i think.

was using them at a show with passive crossovers (for the first time) as DJ monitors, on very bass heavy tracks i was getting a bit of port noise which i wasn't happy about, never had that problem when running them active.

Maybe need to maybe have a re-think. 

Ive used them loads with bands as monitors and on FOH duty never had any problems at all.

Still rocking away, I took them out when I was touring with a band for 3 weeks, used them for the lead singer/guitarist, he loved them.

No issues with the drivers at all there loud, clear when used in pairs very punchy low end.

been tweaking the design.

No EQ only, only a little delay and crossover 18db butterworth slopes.

Nice to see it works well, I'm about to start a similar build with the same driver but using a different horn/comp.

let us know how you get on. Im trying to smooth out the big hump @ 400Hz with out any eq, its now better than it was but more refining left to do

Im getting a CNC run done in the month.  Ive done a few tweaks to port size and constriction, now has a wrap round grill too
