Beautifully drawn designs, thanks for posting up
I'm gonna post some hornresp input parameters but please note these are definitely wrong, because I did it by eye when I got home after smoking a plenty last night... S2 = 1951 Path length = 155cm Vtc = 50000 Atc = 1046 (I don't even know how to calculate this so it's gonna be wrong) Cheers stipe, i got some of those very wrong Edited by darkmatter - 15 January 2009 at 3:18am |

Input parameters for HR
S1 = 750 L1 = 100 CON S2 = 1951 L2 = 50 CON S3 = 1951 Vtc = 85000 (85ltr.) Atc = 1400 "Atc" is average cross section area of throat chamber and roughly said defines shape of throat chamber ..(for example when "Atc" is set small it makes throat chamber appears long-tube like .. in HR simulation that have effect on throat-end-correction factor and make horn apear a bit longer. .. HR inputs also added at first post now |

..1 cm more width will make approx 1.5ltr volume in throat chamber ..which really will not make noticeable difference. Such way my mini's are width-compatible with ES-18 If one want achieve effect of a larger chamber it is easily achieved by adding damping material in chamber. However I recommend slightly damping of mini scoop rear chamber at least in top and rear-panel chamber corners all time. ..For effect of bigger chamber - moderate damping on all rear chamber panels (take care to not obstruct air flow at driver unit magnet-vent ) Best wishes, Stipe |
