Anyone ever tried using the stairville/generic fog fluids in the martin machines?

Done it in antari machines - a regular clean with distilled water & a little pure white vinagar cleans the gunk out. No problems so far.

It'll work, but zr mix is so much better than most of the stuff out there, the price difference is lost in all the extra fluid you'll use and the cloggage

smoke fluid is just glycol (type of glycerine) watered down, roughly 30% water.

the cheaper ones use less pure glycol and often have other unfiltered crap left from the manufactoring process. this sticks to the insides of your machine and eventually blocks it.

also cheaper fluids generally dont distribute around the venue quite so well. i find the proper martin fluids actually dissipate and create a nicer even haze than the cheaper brands.
