Are any of the budget moving heads any cop yet? Probably a question better placed on the blue room but anything budget related normally gets flamed (quite rightly so probably)
Rigging is 3 metres from the floor so don't need anything too bright, minimum of 250W probably though, rotating gobos a must but the main thing is something that isn't going to break after five minutes (like most second hand Mac 250's, 500's and MiniMACs) |

Pearl river are one of the better china brands.
But for a little 150w the Acme IM200 HID is pretty good - i've had 2 of these installed in a club for 11 months, used 8 hours aday everyday and not a problem
