In my books, QSC PL6.0pfc would be the only amp to replace my CA18. Wink

QUAD SERIES, 4 steps class H, On Semi Transistors
  1800 @ 8 ohms
  2700 @ 4 ohms
E]

this is one powerful amp lev.... here are the rail voltages of this quad series.
± 50V
±103V
±157V
±200V  ShockedShocked

Damm!!!

With this sort of voltage swing, more efficient 16ohm drivers could soon be the way forward!

Yeah, problem is, it will definitely be chinese, which means not cheap any more, and by the time you've got one, the company might have gone out of business. Confused

I think you might be right LOL

Old school high current 2ohm (or even 1ohm) stable amps get my vote right now Wink

Yeah, this is not an ordinary chinese amp, it's build with high quality components and  uses genuine ON SEMI output transistors...Smile not cheap anymore...

Interesting amp! I'd like to find out a bit more about it. Are specs available for this beast?

The cabling looks rather thick.

Have you tested it out yet?
