That amp looks to be the greatest human creation the planet earth has yet witnessed.  The manual should win all literary prizes, it even specifies the PSU capacitance, http://www.ac-pro.net/amplifierseries/da/DA_brochure_r100.pdf

how much are they, how much to deliver one to the UK?

cheers,
  Rob.

Yes, but 39.5 Kilos is a bit heavy for 1.8 kwpc @ 4 ohms though guy's.  Dead

Uummmm,

Thought you would have spotted it Lev and jumped on it by now.

The big amp with 200v rails that can do 8500 watts into 4 ohms bridge yet only has a 25 amp fuse.

I must find out how you can draw 37 amps though a 25 amp fuse. This greater that 100% effeiciency routine has really got me stumped.

Also,

A 4 stage output is nice, but unless its built by a company that has been going for 300 years, has an unquestioned 100% reliablity track record and is the world leader in amp technology its going to go pop very quickly. Even the PL9 got pulled and that was 4 stage with 200v top rails. If QSC can't get it right, I would laugh my ass off if a company thats been going a few years with zero R&D can pull it off.

There are not many 4 stage amps around, if any, especially with 200v rails. And for a good reason.

Yeah, this is not an ordinary chinese amp, it's build with high quality components and  uses genuine ON SEMI output transistors...Smile not cheap anymore...

Feel like the threads been hijacked LOL

I would think there would be a similar compliment of them on the other side of the heatsinks.

Yes, there is - in total 8 transistors for each channel. Anyways, here are 51 pics from a TA-2400 that was repaired by the local guy I mentioned before: http://picasaweb.google.com/MAX979/PAVoimendiTheTAmpTA2400#. The amp is taken apart to practically its elemental particlesWink The guy said that it could be much better amp if the original transistors are replaced with MJL21193/MJL21194, but due to owner's budget he didn't do it this time and just added another pair of transistors to each channel (PCB-s have place for 5 pairs actually), so 10 transistors per channel in total. He also said good words about this amp's protection circuits and build quality.

Thanks for the Peavey photo.

I always wanted to know the difference amongst the PV 8.5 and CS 800X from an inside view.

Best Regards,
