Quote in 2010, they are still people interested...?

Of course, that's a daft question.

These amps are in production now and there are plenty out there that are in need of a service. Schematics simply make that task easier.

Specifically the QSC RMX series...but we're treading over old ground here; look for forum posts involving DAP Audio, Audiohead, C-Mark, T-Amp etc and no end of other brands marketed around the world.

48 output transistors! Beautiful....

A popular sound system in St Lucia (Power Plus) runs these. Really hard hitting but on a rack of 3+ units, dedicated power supply is a must

Thumbs Up

Well, to be honest, as neat, clean and elaborated as it seems, it isn't yet a Power Amplifier but an Audio Signal Power Emulator that still needs a lot of work to sound like an analog Power Amplifier. I think that Class-D development competition has "blinded" all the commercial efforts to optimize analog topology designs and even when the fate of the industry points desperately toward that direction I wonder if we've discarded analog signal amplification too fast.

For some pseudo-puritans (hypocrite) like me, Digital Audio Mixers mean a step back in audio treatment but its convenience over the heavier, massive and tons-of-outboard-gear-hunger Analog desks is proven every single day no matter how good sound can produce a Midas H3000 compared to a Midas XL8. And we've accepted it as if. MP3 has replaced WAV and other audio quality lossless media formats not because its High Fidelity capabilities but for the convenience of space saving. Is it coming the day when audio quality won't matter anymore as long as you can carry 100.000 songs in a chip?

Who cares! Class-D devices are becoming lighter, smaller and powerful every year and there's no way back on this (I just can't accept it).

My 2 cents rant...

Ouch
