Hi wil have
2x X1 sub - cross: 35 till 80 2x HD215 - cross: 60 till 160 Mids 160/180 till 5k As for high im planning to get 2x beyma cp22 cross: 5k till 20k they are long throw so should keep up with the HD215's and i picked them because i think a horn will have less high freq's (18k till 20). right? anyway they can be implemented in the mid cabs or i just build some xtra cabs for them :) basicaly looking for a nice solution untop of the 2x X1's and 2x HD215's but i dont wanna build complex cabs im looking for a simple/easy to build cab for mid :) thanx in advance and cheers! bart. |

What kind of music are you gonna be playing back through the system?
What size venues? I assume you want the mid cab to incorperate the HF too? Also i wouldnt worry too much about getting the top end to play from 18-20k so much ;) |

This varies from hip-hop/dubstep to drumm and bass/acid/tekno , but mostly just vinyl/cd/drumcomputer/synths
it must scale up to 2x X1 1000 watt and 4x HD15 600 watt each so total = 4400 watt of bass venue's will be in larger areas or outdoor.... but small audience 50 ish maybe 100. and i now have old rcf Unita mid/high drivers wich sound very... uhm ... old :D so need to replace them and the mid i use azre actually my bass monitors. here is a link to my current set, soon i will receive my 2x X1 cabs to go beneath looking for a mid high solution now. http://img100.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img2460.jpg |
