If I'm ever going to install any speakers into my car, they are going to be at least something like this:
http://www.dynaudio.com/eng/auto/esotec/242gt.php To be honest, I was expecting something cool with title "Car audio porn", and what I see here; typical 6x9s, talk about how cool PMPO ratings are and such. Not so impressed. |

I've tried that too, X1 loaded with V18-1000 and driven by EP2500 into Saab 9-3 estate. Felt kind of funny.

mine's in the works. nothing big, just daily practical. no pictures due to the crap camera dieing on me and me spending too much money towards projects...
the setup: 2x Tang Bang W8-740P 8" subs driven by a JBL BPX500.1. enclosures are two 12.75Liter reflex tuned to 36.6hz and designed based on specific vehicle's natural bass enhancement characteristics. F3 of 34hz and usable range of 36hz to 120hz. setup is fiber-glassed in the rear interior quarter paneling. my guess is probably 120-125db maximum potential... but then again, it's nothing too serious. the rest of the sound system is all OEM factory Pioneer headunit and full range drivers. last RTA test showed decent lines so no need to replace the stock full range system. |
