Hi there
Am trying to figure out some plans for the following drivers and horn. Want the cabs to be as compact as possible, wondered whether A simple reflex cab would be best, or a horn loaded cab. Or perhaps a V-shaped cabinet for better dispersion? 2 x 12" Sound King FB1203H : THe only specs available for them unfortunately are this: FS: 45Hz Qts: 0.39 Vas: 117L Nominal Diameter 12 inch Sensitivity(1m/1w) 96dB Nominal Impedance 8Ω Voice Coil ID 3 inch Power Handing 250W Fre.Range 45Hz-5kHz Net Weight 4.5kg Selenium D210Ti SPECI FI CATIONS Nomi nal i mpedance. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8 Mi ni mum i mpedance @ 2, 900 Hz . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7. 3 Power handl i ng Sensi t i vi t y Fr equency r esponse @ - 06 dB . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 800 t o 20, 000 Hz Ω Ω Ω Musical Program ( w/ xover 1, 500 Hz 12 dB / oct ) . . . 120 W Musical Program ( w/ xover 2, 000 Hz 12 dB / oct ) . . . 160 W On horn, 2.83V@1m, on axi s . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 107 dB SPL Throat diameter . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 25 (1) mm (in) Diaphragm material . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I used P-audio C12-300MB , P-audio PH2723 & P-audio WN-D72 driver
if you use another driver , larger than WN-D72, be sure to check if it fits, as the width at the back is small |

Ok so on WinISD online, putting in the Qts, Vas and Fs - it says that for two drivers in one enclosure, it requires a cabinet with 209.29 litres!! HUGE!!
BUT, for a closed cabinet it says just 102.34 litres which is more managable. I'm going to cross it at about 130-150Hz so will a closed cab work ok? Did a quick sketch.......... |

The box volume will depend on your desired low frequency cut off. What frequency do you need to reach?

its going in a six box system.
Logic System LS215s for the kick. Csubs for the sub. On WinISD online, it looks like the freq curve levels out at 0dB around 120Hz. Subs 40-90Hz Bins 50-150Hz Tops 150Hz up That work out ok?

win isd only SUGGESTS a volume-you can change it and see the results. You unfortunately can't check x-max because you don't have all the specs you need. The sealed cab SHOULD be ok(maybe even 80ltrs) Smaller cabs will give a little bump in the 80hz range and help control cone excursion.
