The Drum in association with Classical & Vision Promotion presents

Bringing together two of reggae’s most rootical and spiritually uplifting artists Johnny Clark and Horace Andy backed by the Dub Ashanti Band with music on the night supplied by Luv Injection and King Earthquake this is a special session specially for the roots and culture massive and one not to be missed!

The official Bunny Lee hitmaker Johnny Clark started in the 70's with hits like None shall escape, Move out of Babylon, African Roots or Singing my love. Many albums followed often mixed by King Tubby. His musical trademark was the Flying Cymbals style and he was the only one to cover Marley tunes when the latter was still alive ! Mr. Clarke is still in full shape and now touring the world... Roots, Natty Roots, Natty Congo!!

Reggae veteran, Original Studio One, and voice of Massive Attack - Horace 'Sleepy' Andy is undeniably one of Jamaica's most distinguished and beloved vocalists. As a roots reggae songwriter and singer, he is known for his falsetto vocals and hit songs such as Government Land, You Are My Angel, Skylarking and his cover of Ain't No Sunshine. He is backed by UK's number one band Dub Asante featuring Buttons - Matic Horns.
