The ones in the pic on page 4 I use with a Matrix XT 6004EQ( 4x 1,200w/4r ) with DB Mark 2in-4out sound system processor. The F208's are rated @ 400/4r, and the F212B's @ 1,200/4r. According to Tony, at the time, the top cabs would handle around 800-900w each and the bins around 2,000w each. I believe the tops are around 99db sensitivity for 1 watt/ @ 1 metre, and the bins are 96db and go down to 32hz. Both designs have 2 rear ports on each cab. So, the performance of a single 18inch, with a very small footprint and incredibly loud for their size.

they will put the bose to shame.. you would need an amp capable of 1600 watts at 4ohm. for the double version, the q12 plays 40hz low end may be a tad lower

So are the cabs "better" than bose 502b. I would think only bad thing that 502b is that they wont go under 50hz :( and they are heavy.
What's the dimension of twin? What amp they need? Does my t.amp 4-700 cover it?

defo, knowing how good they are, just helps stop them falling in money grabbing hands..
I will have flat packs available of a lot of his cabs shortly, were a donation will be taken from the profit. For a long time I did not want to deal with it. But two good friends of mine and Tonys pushed me to get the last cab built, and to get the cad plans drawn up for cnc flatpacks.

f212b is a different design, the f212b was a great design, but different principles to the q12, Tony never made a double of the q12, but would be very easy to re do the plan to a double version.. the q212fp is one of my own designs, based on work myself and Tony done together.

Pic of Tony's Forte Audio F208 standing on top of his F212B sub, is on this thread on page 4. For info, both pairs now owned/used by me. Superb sound, especially on female vocal.
