How about this one from the early 1970's? People thought they were awkward to use because they had those new-fangled crossfaders, nobody wanted them in those days...


Can anyone explain why my picture is failing to appear? I've read the FAQs...

Thanks for that. I've never been able to upload anything to my photobucket account (some problem with browser or Flash I think).
No idea why the image won't display from the webspace I use, but it works OK as a hyperlink.
Oh well, the marvels of modern technology...

I think i must win "nerd of the year" for these two....a couple of screen caps from the 1977 film Saturday night fever.....it was filmed in the Odyssey 2001 club in NewYork...here is the mixer,anyone any ideas?
 
And here are the turntables..Goldring lenco GL75's?
