I've got a question I've been meaning to ask: Anyone remember what Citronic console had similar (if not the same) pioneer turntables to the Kennet, and had a 19” rack mounted amp (Possibly an original ppx) slung under the RH turntable. I seem to remember it having a graphic EQ under the left deck (or possibly a tape player). It also had a light chaser to the left of the mixer. The thing was a beast and weighted an absolute tone. I’m asking as a friend had one in the late 70 and early 80s, he can’t remember what model it was. I think the console was fairly rare as I’ve never seen another one like it and cannot find any info online. |

A System 80 from Citronic was available in different formats. Sl1200's, Pioneers, SP25's etc.
It usually housed an SA400 amp, EQ210, SM440 and a cassette deck. It was all black. Edited by Muckerbarnes1 - 05 December 2017 at 9:53am |

That's the one, I think originally it did have had the SA400 but he was DJing quite large venues with it and I seem to remember he had (for at least a while) the amp swapped out for something with a bit more power.
