Tom Danley has licensed a number of his techniques to VTC - the "patent pending" is Tom's patent.

Which drivers are they? Great folding, I've sketched summat similar but I would've never come up with the idea for those side panels that are slanted in two planes.

With the patent showing the true name of 'Tapered' horn rather than 'Tapped'

In the bottom two octaves it really acts more like a tapered transmission line, not a horn at all.
 
In my opinion, this old patent should be listed as prior art on the Danley patent. It shows the basics of what he is doing.

I didn't know Danley was licensing the technology out to anyone.
