i used one a few times, i really dident like it, the signal lights on the frount had latency, and it is not very user friendly if you have to change settings without a pc (i never used the software so cant coment on that)
the sound quality was not as good as an xta and i couldn't tell the difrence form an ultradrive all in all i went back to and ultradrive, |

this DP300 was a mistake from Ecler. I don't know what their managers though at that time (maybe they were thinking that they must follow Chinese wind to not loose market share), but it was a bad move to use this Digisynthetic crap and put Ecler logo on it. After receiving many negative feedback and facing many technical issues, they discontinued the product quite quickly before their brand was too much damaged. Now they use European stuff for their DSP and everything's fine again with this well respected brand.

well, more processing power, different software, different unit hardware, 48dB/oct crossovers and EQ. comp /limit also in the input channels.
Ah, and the most important thing of all (for me anyway) the DAMN USB conection I still can't understand why some manufacturers still insist in using the RS232 in their devices despite no laptops being fitted with the connector since 2002-2003... Edited by Mircea Bartic - 02 March 2010 at 7:46pm |
