I did think about that. The sp12s go down to 130hz and I think the sbhs go up to 128. I've gotta mention that they're not es18s they're sv186bph otherwise Dref will get annoyed http://forum.speakerplans.com/new-kick-bin-for-pd186-sv186bph_topic75934_page1.html

Or at least happier if they are called by their own name. The rig is looking very nice by the way. What crossover points have you found to work best with this combination?

A proper build subwoofer will be the only thing in a room that is not shaking.

Cheers Dref. I haven't had the chance to run it yet, but was going to try 30-90 bass, 90-180 kick, 180-1.6k mid then the comps from there up

Sound like a reasonable starting point. Then you can always lower the crossover point between the SBHs and the SV186BPHs to get more headroom for the SBHs if needed.

Hello all,
second gig for the 186 Horn I built last month. A very small gig for the carnival of our little town. Originally planned inside but the very good weather made they asked if we can put the system outside. A bit risky due to the lack of power but finally, the sound was good and I was able to clearly heard if from my house about half a mile away of the venue. My son at work: And even myself because the promoters remembered of the gig I made here 20 years ago and implored if I can mix and play some good 80s and 90s stuffs. so a bit stressed because didn't mixed since many years: This was a very good time

Looks pro, congrats.
Some scrim to cover over the table / flightcases would go a long way though
