Absolutely right Tony, Pantechnic was, I believe, the trading name used by Phil Rimmer to market the modules.
I don't think the designs were too far removed from the original Hitachi application notes.

I still have a pair of the 800w modules in an amp that I built in the early 80,s. The OP transistors were never brought into the country by anyone but Phil, which caused me a few problems when later on all 8 devices decided to self destruct. Ben Duncan no less had a high regard for the circuit topology. Tony |

Yes... @Lewis, do you still have the XD4000? Any chance you could do a 2.66 ohm stereo test for 40hz? Also, could you please publish the results for the GPS 3400? |
