Guys, would anyone please be able to sim the RCF L18P200N driver?
I  have 4 of and keen to try something different to my bp6 boxes. I know these are old drivers but I already have them and they are still not bad, (quite high excursion and power handling).
Cheers,Lincoln.

Beyma 18G400 in original (unmodified) CB-18:
=====================================
SPL 2pi @ 1W (Beyma 18G400, Fane 18-1000)

group delay (Beyma 18G400, Fane 18-1000)

cone displacement @ rated power (400W)

SPL 2pi @ 4*400W (4 cabs on ground)

=====================================

Relatively good group delay figures. Should be "honk-safe" till at least 130Hz.

The driver is exceeding Xmax at rated power by about 1mm (@58Hz), at least according to the Hornresp guesstimates.. However, 18G400 is an older model, and its specs from times when the BL fudge-factor was not "invented" yet.. By looking at the aged datasheet, it seems that the Xmax value of 7mm was calculated for close to 100% BL - which means that going 1mm over it should not be a problem. Should be safe and sound good from 38Hz+ @ 400W.

Cheers.

Interesting but in this way you'll loose the simmetrical load of driver.

at +/- 40 and 60hz the fane 1000 goes over xmax
the v18-1000 does not go over xmax at 60 hz

here is a good graph of the fane 1000 vs void v18-1000:

the fane 1000 has a higher excursion around 60 hz, they both reach xmax with 1000w 41 hz

i was potentially planning 4 of these with the fane 1000

I mean, I don't see an difference in the graph, but I will try again.
