So i have had the rig out for the first time..

What can i say. Succes.. Sounded better and MORE than and had ever hoped for! :D
Everything is still ok even thou the dj kept driving the amps in to clip..
I'm very pleased when thinking about how little money i have spent! Thumbs Up

My biggest problem right now is to decide about drivers and amp for my second pair..

Alternativs.. (unless someone has another option :S)

1. Thomann drivers and ta-mkx 2400        (D=488 A=299 Total=  787Euro) (This is what i have today)
2. Thomann drivers and Proline 3000         (D=488 A=615 Total=1103Euro)
3. Fane XB              and Proline 3000         (D=888 A=615 Total=1503Euro)
4. Fane XB              and Crown XLS-5000   (D=888 A=711 Total=1599Euro)

I can't tell you so much. I have not compared it to anything but my old analog crossover.

It's easy to set up and got som limiters, eq and stuff but i have only set up crossover freq. with it.
Keep in mind that it's a rs232 (com-port) connection. I got that old Ibm laptop saved for things like this..

The Thomann digital LMS's are fine, they are Digisynthetic units and the limiters are perfectly OK. The front panel programming like the almost identical BBE units is pretty clunky but OK.

The PC software is again pretty basic but does a job.

AFAIK these units have proved pretty reliable. You really cannot go wrong at Thomanns price with 3 years warranty

BUT, they are two in four out.
Another 60 odd quid gets you three in six out.
It just is.
