Our drummer wears a black shirt on stage - as do I.... by the end of the gig, it's almost white.

Why?  Because the sweat comes out, and the salt within it, dries and leaves a white residue.... it's very odd!!
Please check out my covers band! HERE!

And my live sound blog too! HERE!

Brad, is it safe for us to communicate......

Just as an aside, I do a bit of band lighting and it annoys me when people insist on wearing black clothing on stage when they don't need to.  White is so much better, especially if linked with an open shirt, a hairy chest and a gold medallion......or perhaps not....
Down with signatures!

For sweaty events, "grey marl" seems to hide the white dry sweat marks.

This popped up on Rig- Resale on Facebook the other day lol!

Also it is with great embarrassment that i present you with this:

This was probably the first 'stack' of speakers i'd made. It was back when i was about 16 for a mates birthday. Id only ever set up small 2 way disco systems before and all i had to go on was what id seen done at about 2 free parties and a collection of terrible speakers me and my mates owned!! In all fairness i had ratcheted it, and luckily those Toa Pa horns were only for show. But needless to say though, it still sounded shocking at most! luckily I have learn a lot since then!

Laney also made very nice PA speakers.
Light travels faster than sound....That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak!

No its a powered wedge monitor on its side. Not as bad as a guitar amp but still not ideal.

...i'll give him £3 for the blue shoes if they are a size 8!.... and £1.50 for the potted plant and if he wants rid of that stack of fire wood i'll take it off his hands. could prob get the drivers weighed in for a couple quid.

If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.
