For a man who's just discovered your collective secret that the exclusively ugly appearance of PA amps hides such stunning and beautiful internals, this forum is a wet dream. Fave so far is page 106 - the output inductors (Zobel network?) on the Crown XTi 6000 - surely not!!!! I am building my first ever amp based on the LM1875 chip and I strayed across this forum - at first I didn't quite believe my eyes. Words are just not enough. You have have to be congratulated on creating an absolute masterpiece! Praise, praise and more praise to you all.

Here comes an austin armstrong amp.
Does anybody know about austin armstrong amps ?
It showed fault on the front panel. I replaced 2 resistors (the relatively big, skin color ones on the last picture).
The fault was gone, but after a while it goes in fault mode again at medium levels. Is this the right place to discuss ?

Ahh, I smell C-Audio design.LOLLOL.

If you have changed some of the FET's then the bias current will need re-adjusting, also the last picture does show one or two resistors brown (check these).

I guess AMP 100 is not 100W at 2 ohm? 100 Amps? Looks mental! What voltage rails is that thing running off?
